Governor Signs Measure reducing penalties for criminals using a gun

Los Angeles, October 11, 2017– Michele Hanisee, President of the Association of Deputy District Attorneys issued the following statement regarding the Governor’s decision to sign SB 620.

It is the height of irony that the same legislators who keep calling for more restrictions on the possession and use of firearms by law abiding citizens, are in support of legislation to reduce penalties for criminals who actually use a gun to commit a crime.
